8ciu Egypt stun Cameroon, Nigeria penalise Zambia
Egypt assistant coach Shawki Gharib saluted Cameroon and defended Damon’s performance.
“The referee supported Egypt a bit because they did not deserve to win this game. But I won’t blame the referee because this is Africa and we still have a lot to learn.”
The Pharoahs extended their unbeaten run in the continental championship to 17 games despite going a goal down with skipper Ahmed Hassan heading in to his own net.
“We, on our own part, played very well and knew what we needed to do to win this match.
Man of the hour Hassan, whose country is going for a record seventh crown, was unperturbed by the controversy.
Cameroon coach Paul Le Guen angrily walked out of the post-match press conference, mbt sale, leaving skipper Samuel Eto’o to take issue with South African referee Jerome Damon.
For Zambia it was a cruel end to what has been a fine tournament for Herve Renard’s minnows, who outplayed Nigeria for much of the game.
“Cameroon are a great team and they pushed us very hard.
Ghana, despite their youthfulness and lack of star players, will fancy their chances against Nigeria after a turgid scrappy affair in Lubango - the goalless stalemate would have gone on all night if it hadn’t been for spotkicks.
Extra time was only two minutes old when substitute Mohamed ‘Gedo’ Nafy put Egypt in front and they turned the screw on 95 minutes when a curling freekick by Hassan was adjudged to have been palmed beyond the goalline by Kameni.
A startling statistic from this last eight fixture in Benguela was that Cameroon had no fewer than 24 corners to Egypt’s’ none.
“However, a match is all about 90 minutes and there are no games without mistakes, but overall the referee was fair to both teams.”
Egypt stun Cameroon, Nigeria penalise Zambia in Cup of Nations
Egypt kept their title defence firmly on track with a 3-1 extra time win over Cameroon while goalkeeper Victor Enyeama was Nigeria’s penalty shoot-out hero against Zambia in Monday’s quarter-final action at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Egypt now take on Algeria, who thwarted their chances of competing in the World Cup in November’s acrimonious play-off.
But Africa Cup of Nations’ organisers will be spared any similar violent clashes between the two country’s fans as there are barely any of them in Angola due to visa restrictions and the exhorbitant cost of accommodation and food.
Egypt now face bitter rivals Algeria and Nigeria take on Ghana in Thursday’s semi-finals with the victors meeting in Luanda’s 11 November stadium in Sunday’s finale.
“I’m very happy because we won today,” he said. “We played a very good match, and I’m thrilled to score two goals and also with the record of 170 appearances.”
Television replays showed that the ball did not cross the line.
Zambia’s Thomas Nyirenda saw his penalty saved by Enyeama leaving Nigeria’s Hapoel Tel Aviv-based stopper to put the Super Eagles into the last four when he stepped up and converted for a 5-4 win.
But Hassan celebrated earning an African record 170th cap with a peach of a goal in the 37th minute, ugg uk, firing in from 35 yards to land the ball inches in front of keeper Carlos Kameni who watched in despair as the ball bounced past him.
It was always going to be hard to live up to Algeria’s thrilling five goal extra time win over favourites Ivory Coast on Monday, mbt anti shoes, but silky smooth Egypt managed it.

Even from Geneva, at the far Western end of Switzerland, you can visit almost every place in this country in a day trip, if you start early. The first train leaves Geneva at 4.56 am. From 6.10, trains run every 30 minutes until night. The last train arrives back in Geneva at 1am. Swiss trains must not be booked ahead and you can hop on/off the train as many times as you like. Swiss trains in gerneral and mountain railways in particular are expensive. Check all the railpasses, may be you find a solution suitable to you: If you just want to go into the high mountains from Geneva, ghd straightener, Mont Blanc (France) or Kleinmatterhorn (Switzerland) may be easier to reach: 4 I want to try that. It will be colder in winter, but if the weather is fine, the feeling to be in the middle of the high mountains, on the top of the longest Glacier of Europe (Aletsch Glacier) is unforgettable. It’s years since I took the train from Interlaken up to the Jungfraujoch. We started pretty early in the morning, and had to change trains a few times. It will take a good part of the day from Interlaken, much more if you are really distant from it such as Geneva. One of the pleasures of doing this in the summer is that there is snow and you can ski up there if desired, or ride a dog sled. Of course there should be snow higher up in the Alps anywhere in January. I can see little advantage for doing this in the middle of winter. It’s very expensive, why not visit some place much closer giving you almost a full day in the mountains instead of spending a good part of your time only riding trains to do the scenic part, mbt anti shoes, and the last part up there isn’t scenic as you are within a tunnel in the mountain all the way,chi flat iron, with a stop at one of the viewing windows part way up the north face of the Eiger.||| |

Yes, definitely. If you want to go there ( highest altitude train in Europe) then do it. As others have said, the train journey along the way is spectacular and you can get anywhere in Switz and back in a day with their excellend rail systems.
Yes, you can get on and off trains along the way - just check the timetable first ( use the site from #2) to be sure you won’t be stranded. Personally, I am not so impressed with Interlaken. (Commercial tourism) Bern is worth a short stop if you are interested in it as the capital of Switz - it’s a short walk from the central train station to the old centre of the town - has a great clock tower, similar to the one in Prague. What I do like are the little alpine towns on the way -if it is a clear day, the view towards the alps from Lautterbrunnen will be spectacular. Nice little cafe’s there as well. From where you catch the final train for that haul up and inside the mountain, there are fantastic view, and walks in several directions. ( so long as you have the correct cold weather clothes and boots)
Enjoy!
Europe - Western Europe
I shall be in Geneva from the 7th of January to the 12th, I would like to visit Jungfrauloch as a day trip, however i would appreciate if anyone has done this while staying in Geneva. As i understand it from the Jungfrauloch website, Coming from Geneva you must change trains at Bern, then onto Interlaken!
Is it possible to visit the area in only one day, Also can you hop on/off the train as it stops at each village?
I would really like to see as much of the swiss countryside as possible, but i feel as if am being restricted to day trips by staying in geneva.
Thanks|||

the english translation to "jungfrauLoch" is "virgin’s hole".|||

fmsa Genossenschaften
Mieterh?hung wegen Mietminderung - laut BGH rechtens.
Genossenschaften dürfen Miete einzelner Mitglieder erh?hen
